Tales of the Abyss is part of the Tales series and came out in Japan on December 15th 2005 in Japan. The first Tales game (Tales of Phantasia) came out on December 15th as well in Japan in 1995. Tales of the Abyss was a way to celebrate 10 years of the Tales series. On October 10th 2006, Tales of the Abyss reached North America. There is still no date for Europe (fingers crossed that we will get it!!).

Tales of the Abyss preview
When I first found out about Tales of Symphonia, I showed my friend and he was amazed that he really wanted to get it. I wasn't too fascinated but I decided to wait and see. When it came out I was simply amazed too. Now, Tales of the Abyss has been released in America and I am really amazed at this too. I can't wait till it reaches my country! Looks like Tales of Symphonia with a bit of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time added to it. IGN has also given it an 8.3 which is pretty good. Once this comes out in NZ, i'll make sure to get it straight away. Let's just hope it reaches PAL regions this time since Tales of Legendia didn't.
